"Star Wars Day" is observed annually May 4 to celebrate George Lucas' "Star Wars" media franchise embraced by Lucasfilm and parent company Disney as an annual celebration of "Star Wars", with the new CG-animated "Clone Wars" spin-off action TV series, "Star Wars: The Bad Batch" and the short 'Maggie Simpson' in "The Force Awakens From Its Nap", debuting May 4, 2021 on Disney+:
