"Chaos Walking", the new science fiction feature based on the novel "The Knife of Never Letting Go", is directed by Doug Liman ("Edge of Tomorrow"), starring Tom Holland ("Spider-Man: Homecoming"), Daisy Ridley ("Star Wars: Episode VIII- The Last Jedi"), Mads Mikkelsen ("Doctor Strange"), Demián Bichir, Kurt Sutter ("Sons Of Anarchy"), Nick Jonas, Cynthia Erivo and David Oyelowo, scheduled for release March 5, 2021:
"...in 'Prentisstown', Todd (Holland) has been brought up to believe that the 'Spackle' released a germ that killed all the women and unleashed 'Noise' on the remaining men. After discovering a patch of silence out in the swamp, his surrogate parents immediately tell him to flee, leaving him with a map of 'New World', a message, and many unanswered questions. He soon discovers the source of the silence: a girl, named 'Viola' (Ridley).
"On the run, they learn more about the true history of 'New World' and that no one escapes the Noise..."
