'Covid-19' - "The Batman" Stays On Lockdown

In the UK, "Twilight Saga" vampire Robert Pattinson who stars as the 'Caped Crusader' in director Matt Reeves' "The Batman" live action feature film, remains in quarantine after testing positive for the 'Covid-19 Virus' as the entire production stays on lockdown:

"A member of 'The Batman' production has tested positive for 'Covid-19', " said Warners, "and is isolating in accordance with established protocols..."

"In 'The Batman', a criminal mastermind in 'Gotham City' takes delight in incorporating riddles and puzzles into his schemes, leaving them as clues for the authorities to solve.

"It's very much a point of view-driven, 'noir Batman' tale," said Reeves, who may also include 'Two-Face' and 'Mad Hatter' in the villain mix.

"It's told very squarely on his shoulders, and I hope it's going to be a story that will be thrilling but also emotional. It's more 'Batman' in his detective mode than we've seen in the films.

"The comics have a history of that. He's supposed to be the world's greatest detective, and that's not necessarily been a part of what the movies have been.

"I'd love this to be one where when we go on that journey of tracking down the criminals and trying to solve a crime.

"It's going to allow his character to have an arc so that he can go through a transformation."
