"Marvel Zombies Resurrection"

Sneak Peek Marvel Comics' "Marvel Zombies" #1, showcasing hideous versions of family friendly Marvel Comics characters, on the news that Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige, chief 'Content' executive for the Disney-owned, billion dollar 'Marvel Cinematic Universe' said the studio may branch off into a 'horror movie' genre division, that could include a huge catalogue of Marvel titles and characters:

"...in 'Marvel Zombies' #1, when the corpse of 'Galactus' appears at the edge of Earth's solar system, the 'Avengers', 'X-Men' and 'Fantastic Four' investigate. Too late, they discover that Galactus' body is now the vessel of an interstellar terror, which one-by-one transforms 'Earth's Mightiest Heroes' into the universe's most terrifying predators! As our heroes try to escape the superpowered aberrations that were once friends and family, will any survive? And even if they do, can they hope to protect Earth from the infestation that has already claimed half of the known universe?..."

"'Horror' can mean a lot of things," said Feige.

"...a movie like 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'...

"...or 'Hostel' or a 'Friday the 13th' or a 'Poltergeist'.

"'Poltergeist' is a little bit more my wheelhouse.

"That's such a great movie and it scared the heck out of me...

"...but it’s really fun."
