According to Diamond Distributors, although the bloody, DC Comics title "Dceased" was the top selling comic book for May 2019, Disney-owned Marvel Comics was the top-selling comic book publisher for the month, with 40.46 percent of the dollar share compared to 28.22 percent for second-place WarnerMedia's DC:
