"Black Cat" and "Silver Sable" Movie

On the news that Warners is developing a "Gotham City Sirens" feature, to be directed by David Ayer, comes news that Sony wants to get into the female superhero/anti-hero game, with plans to greenlight a "Black Cat and Silver Sable" feature, spinning off from Marvel's "Spider-Man":

According to reports, Chris Yost (Thor: The Dark World, Thor: Ragnarok) will write the new screenplay to be produced by Matt Tolmach and Amy Pascal.

The 'Black Cat' aka 'Felicia Hardy', was created for Marvel Comics by writer Marv Wolfman and illustrator Keith Pollard, debuting in Marvel's "Amazing Spider-Man" #194 (July 1979), as the daughter of a world-renowned cat burglar.

After suffering a traumatic event as a college freshman, she trained herself in various fighting styles and acrobatics and, after deciding to follow in her father's footsteps, adopted her costumed identity as the Black Cat.

Felicia Hardy also appeared in Sony's "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" (2014), portrayed by actress Felicity Jones.

'Silver Sable' aka 'Silver Sablinova', created for Marvel Comics by writer Tom DeFalco and illustrator Ron Frenz, debuted in Marvel's "The Amazing Spider-Man" #265 (June 1985).

Sable is a mercenary, a hunter of war criminals, the leader of the 'Wild Pack' gang and CEO of 'Silver Sable International'.
