Director James Cameron is ready to re-release his 1991 feature "Terminator 2: Judgement Day", in a fresh, re-mastered 3D conversion, through DMG and distributor StudioCanal, incorporating 'StereoD', a visual technology used in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens":
"'Terminator 2' holds a special place as one of the most popular and sought-after movies in our catalog", said StudioCanal’s president of international distribution and marketing Rodolphe Buet.
"We are very excited to be teaming up with DMG and James Cameron to breathe new life into 'T2'..."
Cameron’s previous 3D theatrical re-release of "Titanic" added an extra $343 million to the film's original world-wide box office gross of $2.1 billion.
