DC Comics' character 'Deathstroke', aka 'Slade Joseph Wilson', was created by writer Marv Wolfman and illustrator George Perez, debuting in DC's "The New Teen Titans" (vol. 1) #2 (1980).
Parallels have been established between him and 'Batman'...
...with a deep-seated grudge against 'Green Arrow'.
