According to Sony Pictures Entertainment, the developing solo live-action "Spider-Man" feature, in IMAX and 3D, starring Tom Holland as 'Peter Parker', to be directed by Jon Watts and co-produced by Marvel Studios has a new release date:
"...the new film will be released July 7, 2017 starring Holland as Parker...
... and Marisa Tomei as 'Aunt May'..."
Screenplay for the new film was co-written by John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein...
...set during Peter Parker's high school days.
The new "Spider-Man" feature will be the sixteenth film in the 'Marvel Cinematic Universe'.
