Take another look @ leaked images from the Detroit, Michigan set of director Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" (currently in post-production), revealing actor Scoot McNairy ("Halt and Catch Fire") as a popular character from the 'Superman' family:
"McNairy could be playing 'Daily Planet' investigative reporter 'Jimmy Olsen', a friend of 'Superman’, who was present during the 'Black Zero' event in 'Man Of Steel' and lost his legs after they were pinned under falling building rubble. The 'green-screen' socks McNairy is seen wearing will be replaced, in post-production, by CG mechanical legs..."
"It’s definitely 100% a character I’ve never played and I can’t speak too freely on it," said McNairy. "But yeah, getting into that 'thing' was definitely something I had to wrap my head around emotionally, in order to play that character.
"But with that being said, I had a lot of fun doing it when I was in the process of shooting...my head was in a different place...
