The 3D science fiction action comedy, directed by Dave Green, is based on the franchise of the same name as the intended sequel to 2014's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles".

The new film is written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, also starring Megan Fox, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Johnny Knoxville, Jeremy Howard, Stephen Amell, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, Gary Anthony Williams, Myles Humphus, Tyler Perry and Laura Linney.
