Take another look @ the origins of DC Comics' 'Doomsday', on the news that the super-villain could appear in director Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice", during a climax against the film's 'trinity' of superheroes 'Batman', 'Superman' and 'Wonder Woman' :
Created by writer/illustrator Dan Jurgens, 'Doomsday' debuted in DC Comics' "Superman: The Man of Steel" #17 (November 1992)...
...followed by another appearance in "Superman: The Man of Steel" #18 (December 1992), portrayed as a deadly monster born from the depths of ancient 'Krypton'.
His creation imbued him with few feelings, mostly hate and destruction which led to his destroying worlds and eventually finding Earth where he meets Superman.
