Police Arrest Suspect In Ryan Reynolds Hit and Run

According to VancouverFilm.Net, actor Ryan Reynolds, in the city to shoot the Fox feature "Deadpool", was reportedly the victim of a hit and run in the parking garage of his downtown hotel, by a vehicle driven by a photographer:

"...Vancouver police have recommended a charge of intimidation against a 52-year-old photographer whose car allegedly struck actor Ryan Reynolds. Constable Brian Montague said the men were involved in a confrontation on Friday evening and Mr. Reynolds was hit as the man tried to escape from an underground hotel parking lot.

"He said officers have spoken with Mr. Reynolds, who had a sore knee and back but was okay to return to work the next day. Constable Montague said police spoke with several people, pulled security video and identified a suspect quite early.

"He said a man from Richmond, B.C., was arrested at the police station and remains in custody. His car has been seized.

"Constable Montague noted a charge of 'intimidation' is uncommon and applies to someone who persistently follows someone or watches where a person works or lives..."
