According to reports Broadway actress Ciara Renée has been cast as a DC Comics superhero for the upcoming love-action "Arrow/The Flash" spin-off coming to The CW:
"...Ciara Renée has been cast as 'Kenra Saunders' aka 'Hawkgirl' in the new series, a young woman who is just beginning to learn that she has been repeatedly reincarnated over the centuries.
"When provoked, her ancient warrior persona manifests itself, along with wings that grow out of her back, earning her the name 'Hawkgirl'..."
Also starring in the new series is Brandon Routh, Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Victor Garber and Caity Lotz.
