There are new updates regarding AMC's "The Walking Dead" 'zombie' spin-off TV pilot:
"...the pilot directed by Adam Davidson reportedly titled "Fear The Walking Dead", is set in Los Angeles, during the time that 'Rick Grimes', star of "The Walking Dead", lies comatose in a hospital before the events of that series...a jump back in time to see how the world handled the 'walker' crisis while Rick was sleeping...Creator Robert Kirkman says the new show, about 'family' will be played by Kim Dickens ('Gone Girl'), Cliff Curtis ('Training Day'), Frank Dillane ('Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince') and Alycia Debnam Carey ('The 100').
"...the pilot will follow a male divorced teacher and a female guidance councillor trying to survive the zombie apocalypse.
"Dillane will play the drug-addled son of the guidance councillor and Debnam Carey will play her 'ambitious' daughter..."
