Sneak Peek new footage, plus images from the next episode of "The Vampire Diaries", titled "I, Alone", written by Brian Young, Holly Brix and directed by Kellie Cyrus, airing December 4, 2014 on The CW.
"The Vampire Diaries" follows the life of 'Elena Gilbert' (Nina Dobrev), who falls for a century-old vampire named 'Stefan Salvatore' (Paul Wesley).
Their lives grow more and more complicated as Stefan's vicious older vampire brother 'Damon Salvatore' (Ian Somerhalder) also returns to town with a vendetta against his brother and the 'Founding Family' descendants. However Damon quickly becomes their greatest ally in their fight against evil.
"...in 'I, Alone', 'Damon' finds himself in hot water after he carries out a plan that requires the unwilling participation of 'Alaric'. When 'Elena' shares some hopeful news with 'Jeremy' about 'Bonnie', she is caught off guard by his reaction. 'Liv' helps Damon and Elena with their plan to get Bonnie back, but when things take an unexpected turn, she’s left with a difficult choice to make. Elsewhere, 'Matt' takes matters into his own hands when the actions of 'Enzo' crosses the line, and the existence of 'Kai' continues to be a dangerous threat..."
