Further to our breaking report here, a popular DC Comics superhero is now confirmed to join director Zack Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice" in an introductory role that will become more prominent in Snyder's follow-up film, "Justice League":
Actor Jason Momoa ("Game Of Thrones") will play DC Comics' 'Aquaman" in "Batman v Superman" and the follow-up "Justice League".
"'Aquaman' will also be in the movie, because the fishes were affected due to the 'World Engine' under the ocean, as seen in 'Man of Steel'..."
Created by Paul Norris and Mort Weisinger, the underwater 'King Of Atlantis' debuted in "More Fun Comics" #73 (November 1941), initially as a backup feature in DC's anthology titles, then starred in several volumes of a solo title.
During the late 1950's and 1960's superhero-revival period known as the 'Silver Age', Aquaman was a founding member of the 'Justice League of America'.
