"Star Wars : Episode VII": The Return Of 'Luke', 'Han' and 'Leia'

Lucasfilm has now confirmed the official cast members of director JJ Abrams' live-action "Star Wars: Episode VII".

"We are so excited to finally share the cast of 'Star Wars: Episode VII'", said Abrams :

Cast includes John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow and the original "Star Wars" movie members, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker.

"It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud."

Via his Twitter feed, Hamill told fans and followers "Finally I can officially say: I’M IN!!!...I was knocked out by the diverse & extraordinarily talented new cast members. WOW they’re good! The saga is in superb hands."

Sneak Peek first reported, March 2013, that the original cast would be returning for "Episode VII".
