"Grace Of Monaco": Enter Nicole Kidman

Sneak Peek new images of actress Nicole Kidman in the December 2013 issue of "Harper’s Bazaar" (Australia) magazine, photographed by James White, in support of Kidman's upcoming $30 million-budgeted feature "Grace Of Monaco":

"Grace of Monaco" is directed by Olivier Dahan and written by Arash Amel, starring Kidman, Frank Langella, Parker Posey, Derek Jacobi, Paz Vega, Roger Ashton-Griffiths, Milo Ventimiglia and Tim Roth, targeting a March 14, 2014 Weinstein release.

The new movie focuses on Kelly's crisis of marriage and identity, during a dispute between Monaco's 'Prince Rainier III' and French President 'Charles De Gaulle', set against a looming French military invasion of the principality in the early 1960's.

Kelly's son Prince Albert II, his sisters Princess Caroline and Princess Stéphanie reportedly criticized the subject matter of the approved script, describing it as "needlessly glamorized and historically inaccurate...therefore, the 'Royal Family' wishes to stress that this film in no way constitutes a biopic. It recounts one rewritten, needlessly glamorized page in the history of Monaco, and its family with both major historical inaccuracies, and a series of purely fictional scenes."

"This is not a biopic or a fictionalized documentary of 'Grace Kelly'", said Kidman, "but only a small part of her life where she reveals her great humanity as well as her fears, and weaknesses..."
