Emmy Rossum Is "Shameless"

Sneak Peek "Shameless" actress Emmy Rossum, in a revealing new pictorial for "Esquire" magazine.

In "Shameless", Rossum plays 'Fiona', the head of a poor Chicago family, the oldest of six kids with an absentee mom and dad. Fiona keeps the family together in spite of poverty, bad luck and 'sexcapades' within the neighborhood.

Rossum herself was a gifted child who joined the New York Metropolitan Opera at the age of seven, hand-picked by director Elena Doria to sing in the 'Children’s Chorus' with Plácido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti.

Refocusing her career on acting, she studied with Flo Salant Greenberg at The New Actors Workshop in New York City.
