The new film is a sequel to the 2012 feature "The Amazing Spider-Man".
Cast also includes Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Shailene Woodley, Dane DeHaan, Colm Feore and Sally Field:

Screenplay of the new film is by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci & Jeff Pinkner, from a first draft by James Vanderbilt, based on the Marvel Comics by writer Stan Lee and co-plotter/illustrator Steve Ditko.
