Spaceship On The "Horizon"

Production has wrapped and post-production started on director Yves Simoneau's Toronto-lensed, World War II era, alien TV pilot "Horizon", starring Cary Elwes and Ruth Bradley, under the supervision of "The Walking Dead" executive producer Gale Anne Hurd.

Written and co-produced by Bridget Tyler, "Horizon" was developed by Hurd, the creative force with James Cameron of the original "Terminator".

"...during the height of World War II, when women began entering the workforce, 'Horizon' centers on a Washington secretary (Bradley) at the 'FBI' who starts a secretive investigation into files that have been stamped with the codename 'HORIZON'.

"She discovers that the clandestine project has something to do with the death of her husband who was apparently killed during a battle with a 'spaceship' in the South Pacific.

"What she doesn't know is that her investigation has aroused the interest of undercover Axis spies working in the US, as she becomes the only person standing between Earth and an alien invasion."...

Simoneau directed "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee" (2007), winning five TV Emmy Awards including 'Outstanding Made For Television Movie'.
