Sneak Peek the trailer and more gnarly cover images from Archie Comics' "Afterlife With Archie", the upcoming 'zombie' take on the gang from 'Riverdale', available October 9, 2013.
The series is written by Harvey Award-winning writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (screenwriter of the new "Carrie" remake), with illustrations by Eisner award-winning artist Francesco Francavilla.
"Heartbroken and desperate, Jughead brings the dog to 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch', who, after much deliberation, casts a spell bringing the hound back to life.
"But Hot Dog is not the same sweet canine he was before, and he bites Jughead, infecting him with the zombie virus..."
"It is dark in that the 'Archie' gang is fighting for their lives and survival," said Aguirre-Sacasa. "On the night of the Halloween dance in Riverdale, the zombie apocalypse begins."
