"Curse Of Chuckie" Is "Child's Play"

Sneak Peek all the footage released to date from the direct-to-DVD, sixth installment of the "Child's Play" horror franchise, titled "Curse of Chucky", available on DVD and Blu-ray, October 8, 2013:

Directed by Don Mancini, "Curse of Chucky" stars Fiona Dourif ("The Master"), A. Martinez ("Longmire"), Danielle Bisutti ("Get Smart") and Brennan Elliott ("Flight 93"). Brad Dourif ("Deadwood") returns to provide the voice of 'Chucky', the pint-sized doll possessed by the spirit of killer 'Charles Lee Ray'.

The original "Child's Play", released in 1988, was directed by Tom Holland, starring Catherine Hicks and Chris Sarandon. 

"...in 'Curse of Chucky', 'Nica' (Dourif) is grieving over the suicide of her mother when her domineering older sister 'Barb' (Bisutti) arrives with her young family in tow to help settle their mother’s affairs. As the sisters butt heads over Nica’s plans for the future, Barb’s young daughter comforts herself with a grinning, red-haired talking doll named 'Chucky' (Brad Dourif) that recently arrived mysteriously in the mail. 

"As a string of crimes begins to terrorize the household, Nica suspects the doll may hold the key to the carnage and has a personal score to settle..."
