Sneak Peek a trailer and more gnarly images from Archie Comics' "Afterlife With Archie", the new 'zombie' take on the gang from 'Riverdale', available October 9, 2013, written by Harvey Award-winning writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (screenwriter of the "Carrie" remake movie), with illustrations by Eisner award-winning artist Francesco Francavilla.
"...the story begins with 'Hot Dog', the dog owned by 'Jughead' being being run over with a car. Jughead brings the dog to 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch', who, after much deliberation, brings the dog back to life. But Hot Dog is not the same sweet hound he was before, and he bites Jughead, infecting him with his virus..."
"It is dark in that the 'Archie' gang is fighting for their lives and survival," said Aguirre-Sacasa. "On the night of the Halloween dance in Riverdale, the zombie apocalypse begins."
