"Sons Of Anarchy" - Season 6

Sneak Peek more Season 6 story spoilers and footage from showrunner Kurt Sutter, creator of the FX  'biker' dramatic action TV series "Sons Of Anarchy", debuting September 10, 2013:

Asked how long actor Ron Perlman’s despicable 'SAMCRO' leader, killer, gun-runner will be behind bars in Season 6, Sutter acknowledged that the character backed himself into quite a corner.

"That’s a rough one", Sutter said. "We’re going to have to play out that storyline a little bit to know exactly where it goes. We’re still kind of figuring out the ramifications of everything in terms of where he lands".

"The interesting thing is by having the two people he loved most in terms of the club, 'Juice' and 'Gemma', kind of turn on him.

"I do think there was a moment where, even though you despise 'Clay' to an extent, you actually felt sorry for this guy. So yeah, there’s not a lot of sympathy out there."

As for new Season 6 revelations, Sutter confirmed that 'Jax' has given up on the fantasy of ever getting out of the 'family business'.

"I think 'Jax' has made the decision, 'This is my life, this is what I’m supposed to be doing, but can I do it the right way? Can I get us out of guns? Can I go legit?'...He’s at the same precipice his dad was at 25 years ago. It’s not so much about getting out but, 'Can I make it less dangerous and keep people safe? Can I keep my family whole?’ That’s the shift that has happened."

Boom! Studios new "Sons Of Anarchy" graphic novels, based on the FX 'biker' TV series, will also be released in 2013.

"...I think we’ve really created these characters and narratives that have been very organic to this world," said series creator Kurt Sutter about the graphic novel series, "and I feel like we’re running towards this finish. My goal is to tell the story I want to do.

"What I never wanted to do was to overstay our welcome. At a certain point the shit has to hit the fan for it to stay believable and real. Ultimately it has to find its endgame."

Sutter said the final scene of the series will end with "a big pool of blood. But how we’re going to get there and what that looks like, I’m not sure.

"We begin season six a few days after season five and I think obviously there’s a lot of big events that happen at the end of season five and they will carry us through into the season. But it continues to be Jax’ journey.

"Can he be the leader of this outlaw organization and still be a loving father and devoted husband? Can he take the club and lead them into a more legitimate line of work and still be an outlaw organization?

"Can he have everything that he wants and remain true to what he is? What father is Jax destined to become? Is he destined to become Clay...?" In Season 6, Hunnam's character 'Jax' will also step into the role of 'National President' of the 'Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club' (SAMCRO).

"I think that he hadn’t anticipated how difficult is was going to be to lead," said Hunnam about his character. "Much like many presidents who follow from their predecessor, it’s a difficult transition." According to Perlman, who plays gang leader 'Clay', his screen wife 'Gemma' (Sagal)  "...was the only thing in his life he could do without and now that she’s betrayed him, he’s out of options.

"Season six is him knowing that there’s no more leveraging. There’s no more maneuvering. There’re no more choices. There’s just this bounty on his head and he’s no longer in control of how many minutes he’s got left. It’s the first time in his life when he’s not in the position to have any fight left in him. He’s worn out all his choices and he’s completely at the mercy of other forces. It was like getting hit in the gut knowing that all the rules were going to change, not just for Clay, but for everything that has happened over the past five years. It was devastating for Clay having to realize that he wasn't as good a chess player as he thought he was."

Sutter also plays recurring character 'Big Otto Delaney' in the series.

"I always joke about what’s going on with me emotionally, is basically what happens to Otto on-screen and I think we’ll continue down that path this season and awful things will keep happening to him."
