"Mad" Magazine: 'The Joker' Goes Wild

Sneak Peek new action figures of "Mad" Magazine's 'Alfred E. Neuman' as 'Batman', 'Superman', 'Green Arrow' and 'The Joker'.

We have been enjoying "Mad" for some years now, including the early comic books featuring classic parodies "Bat Boy and Rubin" and "Superduperman".

When "Mad" became a 'magazine', free from the restrictions of the Comics Code Authority that decimated the entire EC comic book line, we still enjoyed large format issues featuring Norman Mingo's painted covers depicting mascot Alfred E. Neuman in ridiculous situations.

Today, "Mad" occasionally comes up with some hilarious illustrations including their famous 'Justin Bieber' cover that convinced the pop star to change his ludicrous hair style.

Also amusing were parodies of "The Dark Knight" and a whole lot more.

So from time to time, we will post topical movie illustrations from "Mad", now more than 60 years old and still going strong, despite their left leaning stupidity.
