Sneak Peek new footage from the Season 6 premiere of HBO's Emmy award-winning 'vampire' dramatic TV series "True Blood", debuting June 16, 2013 with the first of 10 new episodes, under showrunner Brian Buckner.
Season 6 will air with the episode "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood", written by Raelle Tucker and directed by Stephen Moyer, with actors Robert Patrick ("Terminator 2: Judgement Day") and Rutger Hauer ("Blade Runner") co-starring as series regulars :
"...barmaid 'Sookie' (Anna Paquin) is reeling from from seeing her former lover 'Bill Compton' (Moyer) die, only to be reborn as 'Billith'. Will 'Eric Northman' (Alexander Skarsgard) be able to bring Compton back to his humanity?
"And just who is 'M. Warlow', why is he coming after Sookie and who will be the new face of vampires now that 'The Authority' is dissolved?..."
Created by Alan Ball, "True Blood" is based on "The Southern Vampire Mysteries" novels by author Charlaine Harris, detailing the co-existence of vampires and humans in 'Bon Temps', a small town in northwestern Louisiana, focusing on 'Sookie Stackhouse' (Paquin), a 'telepathic' waitress with an otherworldly quality.
