Sneak Peek new Season 2 images and footage of actress Jennifer Love Hewitt, who has confirmed that her 'massage parlor' TV series "The Client List" will return to Lifetime, March 10, 2013.
"There’s a lot of danger, a lot of intrigue, a lot of sexiness," said Love Hewitt about the upcoming season's 15 new episodes.
Based on the 2010 TV film of the same name, the series follows 'Riley Parks' (Jennifer Love Hewitt), who begins work in a day spa in a local town after her husband abandons her and their children, leaving her in financial debt.
She quickly realizes that the spa gives much more than massages, but works with the parlor's owner in order to keep food on the table. While helping to run the business, she struggles to discreetly balance two lives – a single mother who must provide for her family and a strong businesswoman working in a 'unique' sex-for-hire business.
"There is a really good love triangle," said Love Hewitt about Season 3. "We've got fun, sexy, people coming up."
The series was previously the subject of a nationwide campaign by licensed massage therapists to stop the show, asserting that, "...'The Client List' is a series that perpetuates the misconception that Massage Therapy includes inappropriate sexual contact...'The Client List' is a huge step backwards..."
