Sneak Peek more new images and video clips from Season 3 of HBO's medieval fantasy TV series "Game of Thrones", premiering March 31, 2013, the producers promise will contain longer, more 'super-sized' episodes .
"There’s almost another full episode' worth of extra minutes spread across the season," said showrunner Dan Weiss. "One of the great liberties with HBO is we're not forced to come in at a specific time. We can’t be under 50 minutes or over 60, but that still gives us a lot of flexibility..."
"...a super-sized season, as befitting 'Storm of Swords'", added showrunner David Benioff. "Last year we had a lot of 52-minute episodes. This year is a lot of 56, 57..."
HBO's "Game Of Thrones" is based on the first half of author George R. R. Martin's "A Storm of Swords", the third novel in his "A Song Of Fire and Ice" book series.
Season 3 cast includes Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Michelle Fairley, Lena Headey, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aidan Gillen, Iain Glen, Kit Harington, Richard Madden, Maisie Williams, Isaac Hempstead Wright, Sophie Turner, Jack Gleeson and Alfie Allen.
"...'The Seven Kingdoms of Westeros are still in the grip of the 'War of the Five Kings', with remaining kings 'Robb Stark', 'Balon', 'Greyjoy', 'Joffrey Baratheon' and 'Stannis Baratheon' fighting to secure their crowns.
