From VancouverFilm.Net, Sneak Peek more new images and a video clip revealing actress Jessica De Gouw as 'Helena Bertinelli' aka 'The Huntress' in the "Arrow" episode titled "Muse Of Fire".
Airing on CW November 28, 2012, "Muse Of Fire" was directed by David Grossman.
"She is the dark mirror version of 'Oliver' ("Arrow)," said Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg.
"It was a nice contrast to him because he’s pretty extreme.
"Oliver has taken the darkness inside with him and is doing something positive with it. She’s taken the darkness inside her and is seeking revenge and doesn’t care who gets hurt in the process."
"'Helena', a potential love interest for 'Oliver Queen' is a fellow vigilante, set on destroying her father’s organized crime empire. But Helena’s blind pursuit of revenge will put her on a collision course with the 'Arrow'..."
Different versions of The Huntress have appeared in the DC Universe since the late 1940's, with the most recent in the 2002 WB TV Series "Birds Of Prey".
"Arrow" stars Stephen Amell, Colin Donnell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Susanna Thompson and Paul Blackthorne.
Created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp, "Green Arrow' debuted in "More Fun Comics" #73 (November 1941), as 'Oliver Queen', a billionaire and former mayor of 'Star City'.
Dressed like 'Robin Hood', Green Arrow invented trick arrows with various special functions, including glue, net, explosive, time bomb, grappling, fire extinguishing, flash and tear gas arrows.
Originally developed as an archery-themed 'Batman' vigilante, the character has developed over the years into a voice of 'left-wing' and 'progressive' politics.
The 'Green Arrow' character also appeared in the live-action, Vancouver-lensed "Smallville" TV series.
