The new film adapts author Jack Kerouac's novel "On The Road".
Cast of "On The Road", includes Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Alice Braga, Elisabeth Moss, Kristen Stewart, Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen and Amy Adams.
"On The Road" was produced by Francis Ford Coppola on a $25 million budget.
Based on the years Kerouac spent traveling along the roads of America in with his friend 'Neal Cassady', other characters in the film include writers 'William S. Burroughs' and 'Allen Ginsberg'.
"On the Road", written by Kerouac in 1951, published in 1957, is largely an autobiographical work of the postwar 'Beat Generation', inspired by jazz, poetry, sex and drugs.
Production then moved to Calgary, Alberta, with additional scenes lensed in Argentina, Mexico, New Orleans, Arizona and San Francisco.
