Sneak Peek director Paul Thomas Anderson‘s $35 million budgeted dramatic feature "The Master", starring Philip Seymour Hoffman as a WW II veteran who decides to form his own religion:
"...a charismatic intellectual (Hoffman) launches a faith-based organization following World War II, with a drifter (Joaquin Phoenix) as his right-hand man.
"But when the faith begins to gain a fervent following, the drifter finds himself questioning the belief system and his mentor."
Cast also includes Amy Adams, Laura Dern, Jesse Plemons and David Warshovsky.
The new film will be released through The Weinstein Company, Fall 2012.
