According to internet reports, "Kick-Ass 2" will shoot August 2012, for Universal Pictures, with Jeff Wadlow directing from his own screenplay.
"We shoot 'Kick-Ass 2' this summer," "Kick-Ass" comics creator Mark Millar told the Scottish Daily Record.
"...the sequel to "Kick-Ass" follows costumed vigilante 'Kick-Ass' who is trying to form a team of real life super-heroes, as well as prepare for the arrival of 'The Red Mist', who has been gathering his own twisted team of 'super-villains'..."
