Warners Toons Into "Rascal Raccoon"


Comic book publishers Oni Press ( "Tek Jansen) report that their comic book series "Rascal Raccoon's Raging Revenge" has been optioned by Warner Bros. as a special effects-driven CG-live action comedy feature, to be produced by Matthew Fogel, Eric Gitter and Ken Franchi for director Todd Strauss Schulson. 

In addition, Oni's "Amy Devlin Mysteries" graphic novels are in development at E! as part of an inaugural slate of original script-driven programming.

In the "Amy Devlin Mysteries", "...'Amy Devlin' might not be a licensed Private Investigator but that hasn't stopped her from playing one on the internet! Now the case she finds herself on is no game..."

"Rascal Racoon's Raging Revenge" "...is set in 'Toonie Terrace', where good-natured 'Toonies' rambunctiously and without fail outwit the 'Meanies', who are trying to do them in. 


"When 'Rascal Raccoon'  unexpectedly kills his longtime nemesis, 'Jumpin’ Jackalope', he sets his sights next on the animator who created him..."
