"The Dark Knight Rises"

During a recent group interview, actor Tom Hardy, talked about his character 'Bain' in director Christopher Nolan's third 'Batman' movie, "The Dark Knight Rises", opening July 20, 2012.

"It’s very, very, very hot", Hardy said about the costume he had to wear. "But you think about the lads that are out in Afghanistan and and you think about the kit they have to wear, well then it’s actually not that bad, is it? 

"But it is hot. It’s hard to breathe. I can’t hear anyone, and no one can see me speak...and the magic begins."

"I had no immediate knowledge of the world of Batman at all," Hardy admitted after accepting the role. "I’m quite incubated. I just keep to myself ."

"He’s a different character," Hardy said about Bain.

"I’m playing a different character than I’ve ever played before."

"The Dark Knight Rises" is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. 'Batman' was created by Bob Kane.
