Kate Upton Makes A Splash With "The Three Stooges"

Sneak Peek a new image of 20-year old actress Kate Upton as a bikini-wearing nun, from the upcoming slapstick comedy feature "The Three Stooges".

Directed by the Farrelly Brothers ("Dumb and Dumber") the movie is a 'resurrection', with new actors, of the original "Three Stooges" comedy team of Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly Howard.

The film is inspired by the original 1930's "Three Stooges" 'Columbia Pictures' short presentations.

"The Three Stooges" revolves around the trio, first left as newborns outside an orphanage, then following them into adulthood.

The full feature is divided into three half-hours.

Actors Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos and Will Sasso play 'Larry', 'Moe' and 'Curly'.

Cast also includes Jane Lynch, Larry David, Stephen Collins, Sofia Vergara and Jennifer Hudson.

Writer/actor Larry David ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") plays 'Mother Mengele', the nun who runs the orphanage where the 'Stooges' grow up.

Actress Jane Lynch ("Glee") plays the orphanage's 'Mother Superior'.

Fox acquired The Farrelly Bros. "Three Stooges" project from MGM. The screenplay is co-written by the brothers and Mike Cerrone.

"It’s not a biopic," said Peter Farrelly. "It takes place in present day, and they will look, dress and sound exactly like the original Stooges..."

Filming was under the supervision of producers Bradley Thomas, Charles B. Wessler and Earl Benjamin.

"The Three Stooges" opens April 4, 2012.
