Director Martin Scorsese will team again with actor Leonardo DiCaprio, for the dramatic feature "The Wolf of Wall Street", based on the 'confessional' autobiography by Jordan Belfort, detailing the true life story of how he was arrested for security fraud and money laundering.
According to reports, the screenplay will be written by Terence Winter ("Boardwalk Empire"), for a production start in NYC August 2012, targeting the book's main topic of sex, drugs and risky physical behavior that Belfort managed to survive.
The new film will mark the fifth collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio, following the features "The Aviator," "Gangs of New York," "The Departed" and "Shutter Island."
