"Young Justice" Returns - March 3, 2012

Sneak Peek new images supporting Cartoon Network's "Young Justice" animated TV series, based on DC Comics' teen superheroes.

A special 1-hour series premiere from Warner Bros. Animation TV, debuted November 2011 :

"'Robin', 'Speedy', 'Aqualad' and 'Kid Flash' are finally granted access to the headquarters of the 'Justice League'.

"But when that access turns out to be little more than a glorified backstage pass, Speedy walks, while the other three sidekicks go on a mission of their own...to 'Project Cadmus', where they make a startling discovery..."

Created by Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti for Cartoon Network. the series adapts the entire DC Universe with a focus on young superheroes who are members of the fictional covert operation team, 'Young Justice'.

The team is essentially a counterpart to the celebrity-level famous adult team, the 'Justice League'.

The main setting is the fictional universe of 'Earth-16', during a time period in which superheroes are a relatively recent phenomenon.

"Young Justice', currently on hiatus will resume airing March 3, 2012.
