Sneak Peek Quentin Tarantino In "Sukiyaki Western Django"

According to reports, director Quentin Tarantino will next take on the 'western' genre for a Weinstein Company-distributed 'bloody revenge' feature.

With the working title "Django Unchained", written by Tarantino, the new "Django" film will star actor Christoph Waltz , Oscar-winner for Tarantino's "Inglorious Basterds".

Tarantino's title refers to director Sergio Corbucci's 1966 'spaghetti western' feature "Django", starring actor Franco Nero, about a gunslinger who rescues a woman from bandits.

In Tarantino's "Django" screenplay, Walz's character will help a former slave rescue his wife from a plantation owner.

No stranger to the "Django" canon of films, Tarantino had a featured cameo in director Takashi Miike's 2007 Japanese feature "Sukiyaki Western Django".
