With the working title "Django Unchained", written by Tarantino, the new "Django" film will star actor Christoph Waltz , Oscar-winner for Tarantino's "Inglorious Basterds".
Tarantino's title refers to director Sergio Corbucci's 1966 'spaghetti western' feature "Django", starring actor Franco Nero, about a gunslinger who rescues a woman from bandits.
In Tarantino's "Django" screenplay, Walz's character will help a former slave rescue his wife from a plantation owner.
