Sneak Peek the eighth and final season of the TV series "Desperate Housewives", premiering Sunday September 25, 2011.
The 'comedy-drama', created by Marc Cherry is produced by ABC Studios and Cherry Productions.
Inspired by the feature "American Beauty" and its droll deceased narrator, "Housewives" is set on the street of 'Wisteria Lane' in the fictional town of 'Fairview', following the lives of a group of women, as seen through the eyes of a dead neighbor.
"...The women work through domestic struggles and family life, while facing secrets, crimes and mysteries hidden behind the doors of their seemingly perfect suburban neighborhood..."

The series stars an ensemble acting cast, headed by Teri Hatcher as 'Susan Mayer', Felicity Huffman as 'Lynette Scavo', Marcia Cross as 'Bree Van de Kamp' and Eva Longoria Parker as 'Gabrielle Solis'. Brenda Strong narrates the show as the deceased 'Mary Alice Young', appearing sporadically in flashbacks or dreams.
Debuting in 2004, "Desperate Housewives" has won Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild awards, and is reportedly the most popular TV series in its demographic worldwide, with an audience of more than 120 million.
