Based on Marvel Comics' "Ghost Rider", created in 1972 by writers Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich and illustrator Mike Ploog, producers of the new film are Steven Paul, Ashok Amritraj, Michael De Luca, Avi Arad, and Ari Arad.
