According to reports, Oscar-winning screenwriter William Monahan ("The Departed") will work on creator Frank Miller's draft screenplay for the motion picture sequel, "Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For".
To be directed by Robert Rodriguez, "A Dame to Kill For", the 1995 Eisner award winner for "Best Limited Series" was first published by Dark Horse Comics in 1993. It is the second story in Miller's "Sin City" series, and the first to be published in miniseries format, written and illustrated entirely by Miller. It has since been reprinted in graphic novel format in four separate editions.
The new film will also include two new stories set in the "Sin City" universe, including "The Long Bad Night".
