"X-Men : First Class" DVD - September 9, 2011

According to internet reports, the 20th Century Fox feature "X-Men: First Class", directed by Matthew Vaughn ("Kick-Ass") will be available on DVD and Blu-ray, September 9, 2011.

Box cover art will feature either 'Professor Xavier' (James McAvoy) aka "Professor X' or 'Erik Lehnsherr' (Michael Fassbender) aka 'Magneto.

Included is a digital copy of 'special features', ten "X-Men" Marvel digital comics and a 'Cerebro Mutant Tracker', featuring an interactive video database of 'mutants'.

Set in 1962, "X-Men: First Class" focuses on the relationship between Professor X and Magneto and the origin of their groups, the "X-Men" and the "Brotherhood of Mutants".

Fassbender is currently in the UK, shooting director Ridley Scott's "Prometheus", playing an 'android' named 'David', in the prequel to the "Alien" film series, while in negotiations to work with Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle, in his new film, "Trance", set for a spring 2013 release.

In 2012 Fassbender will star in a vampire feature, directed by Jim Jarmusch.
