"Charlie's Angels": They're Not Saints

Sneak Peek the new posters supporting the reboot of the "Charlie's Angels" TV series, developed by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar ("Smallville") for ABC, based on the 1976 'jiggle TV' series.

"...A former Miami police officer, a mysterious street racer, and a well-to-do thief, are given a chance at redemption when they are recruited by an anonymous millionaire named 'Charlie Townsend' to solve crimes while struggling with their own personal problems, love lives and each others' friendship..."

Cast includes Annie Ilonzeh as 'Kate Prince', former Miami cop, Minka Kelly as 'Eve French', a street racer, Rachael Taylor as 'Abigail "Abby" Sampson', a thief, Ramón Rodríguez as 'John Bosley' and Robert Wagner as the voice of 'Charlie'.

"The characters are real and emotionally grounded," said co-creator Gough, "but they still like to have fun, wear great clothes, solve crime, and kick some serious ass...we hope to surprise people and bring a whole new generation to 'Charlie's Angels'".

Marcos Siega directed the pilot episode in Miami, Florida, March 2011, with ABC announcing in May that they would pick up the project to series.

The first episode will premiere Thursday, September 22, 2011, on the 35th anniversary of the debut of the original "Charlie's Angels."
