Sneak Peek the first image of actor Sacha Baron Cohen ("Borat") as Paramount Pictures' "The Dictator", playing dual roles of a dictator who heads to the US for a meeting at the United Nations and finds he has been replaced by an unsuspecting sheepherder.The comedy is directed by Larry Charles ("Bruno"), from a screenplay by Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel ("Seinfeld").
Producers are Scott Rudin, Cohen, Berg, Schaffer and Mandel.
Cohen's fourth film, from Four by Two Films and Spyglass Entertainment will "...tell the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed..."
Also starring are Ben Kingsley and Anna Faris."The Dictator" will be released May 11, 2012.
