The Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim" programming block has picked up the Titmouse animated TV series "Black Dynamite", produced by Ars Nova Entertainment, for broadcast in 2012.
A new "Black Dynamite" comic book from Ape Entertainment, will be released in 2011, setting up the animated series.
Directed by Carl Jones ("The Boondocks"), "Black Dynamite", based on the 2009, "Black Dynamite" exploitation feature, follows ex-CIA agent 'Black Dynamite' and his posse as they avenge the death of BD's brother.
The new series features the voice talents of "Black Dynamite" movie actors Michael Jai White, Tommy Davidson, Kym Whitley and Byron Minns.
