The ongoing black & white, independent comic book series "RASL", created by Jeff Smith in 2008, has now been set for development with producer Lionel Wigram ("Sherlock Holmes").
The comic book series follows art thief 'RASL', who jumps to parallel universes in attempts to steal parallel paintings, but soon runs into dangerous scenarios as he is pursued by the government.
Written/drawn in a 'sci-fi noir' style, "RASL" draws influences from real life events, people and places in addition to Southwestern Native American culture and hardboiled crime fiction.
