Actress Michelle Ryan ("The Bionic Woman") has been cast as a bank robber in the upcoming UK comedy feature "Cockneys vs. Zombies", starting in London March 21.
"...in 'Cockneys vs. Zombies', a group of bank robbers crack open a 350-year-old vault and discover more than the loot they were after when an army of flesh-hungry zombies emerges..."
Actress Honor Blackman, who played 'Pussy Galore' in the 'James Bond' feature "Goldfinger" also stars in the film, to be directed by Matthias Hoene ("Beyond The Rave") from a screenplay by James Moran ("Torchwood").
"What I love about the 'CvsZ' concept is that it takes two established British genres, the gangster film and the horror film, and blends them together," said Hoene. "The film will be scary, darkly comic, witty and anarchic."
